Introduced in 2014 and derived from the Su-27 as a supersonic all-weather fighter-bomber and strike aircraft. Featuring an armored cockpit with side-by-side seating, it can carry a wide variety of munitions. The Su-34 is viewed as a replacement for the aging Su-24 and Tu-22M. Currently 131 aircraft are operational.
